The Journal of Language and Gender (JLG) is a scientific journal published by the Nohan Institute and organized by the Nohan Institute. JLG specifically publishes high-quality research focusing on the intersections between language, gender, and communication in various social, cultural, and institutional contexts. The journal encompasses studies on discourse and gender identity, linguistic representation of gender in media, language and power relations, feminist linguistics, gendered communication in education and workplaces, and sociolinguistic perspectives on inclusivity and equality.
JLG welcomes original research articles, case studies, literature reviews, and book reviews that contribute to the scholarly understanding of how language shapes and reflects gender relations and identities. The journal is published three times a year (February, June, and August).
