Open Access Policy
PUBLICATION FREQUENCY
Journal of Language and Gender (JLG) is published three times a year (February, June, and August). Each issue features high-quality research articles that explore the interconnections between language and gender, including studies on discourse and identity, feminist linguistics, gender representation in media, communication in social and institutional contexts, and inclusive language practices that promote equality and diversity.
OPEN ACCESS MODEL
JLG is an open-access journal, that ensures all published articles are freely and immediately available online without subscription or access fees. The journal operates under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. Under this license, users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, and adapt the content for any lawful purpose, provided that proper attribution is given to the original work and that any derivative works are shared under the same license. By adopting an open-access model, JLG promotes the free exchange of knowledge, enhances global research accessibility, and contributes to the advancement of educational research.
AUTHOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Authors submitting to JLG are required to:
- Ensure that their manuscripts are original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
- Adhere to ethical research and publication practices, including proper citation, authorship contributions, and conflict of interest disclosures.
- Comply with JLG's formatting and submission guidelines to facilitate a smooth review and publication process.
- Grant JLG the right to publish and disseminate their work under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license while retaining copyright ownership.
