  • Investigates how local wisdom contributes to cultural resilience, sustainability, and social harmony in modern societies.

  • Promotes integrative, participatory, and interdisciplinary approaches to the study and revitalization of local wisdom.

JLW aims to facilitate intellectual exchange among scholars, educators, cultural practitioners, and policymakers to deepen theoretical and empirical insights into the significance of local wisdom in shaping human values, community well-being, and sustainable futures—both within the Indonesian context and from a global comparative perspective.
